Send the public Instagram link, not a screen recording

Instagram Transcript accepts a public Reel or video-post URL and normalizes it before sending it to the dedicated transcript provider. You do not need to download the Reel, convert its audio, or upload a local file. The provider listens for spoken content and returns either a complete text response, a sequence of segments, or both. When the request succeeds, the source badge identifies the result as a platform transcript rather than implying that native Instagram captions were copied.

The Instagram provider does not always return timecodes. Some responses contain clean spoken text but no start or end values for individual phrases.
